The Small Business Learning Center is an online resource for multiple self-paced courses. You may take these courses at no cost and when ever you need to update your skills on topics such as Marketing, Business Planning, Finances, Technology and so many more! Check out their library of resources for business owners and entrepreneurs.
Put on by universities and technical institutes with help from the private sector, camps are geared toward middle school and high school students. The camps are typically daylong events where students learn about specific careers by hearing from professionals and participating in hands-on activities.
The types of camps listed on the website include agriculture, business, engineering, health care, information technology, and trade and technical.

Employer/Employee Customer Service Certification
"Serving Great Faces in Great Places" is the theme of the online customer service training created by the South Dakota Department of Tourism and the College of Business and Technology at Black Hills State University.
This training is primarily for front-line employees who are the first people to come into contact with travelers to South Dakota. You are our state's first impression and the goal of this training is to help you with awareness and ideas to make the best first impression possible.
Business owners/managers are required to register their businesses before any of their employees are able to register and access the training. Managers will be able to monitor each of their employee's progress. When finished, each employee will receive a certificate of completion. Participating businesses will also receive a certificate of participation.
This training does meet the requirements for the Employee Hospitality Training component of the Great Service Star program. Find out more.
